Our legal team is led by Mr. Chung Le, Managing Partner of Construction Law Vietnam Counsellors (CLVN).

Depending on the work requirement we will involve other senior international project and construction specialists who are former partners at top-tier international law firms and who have had intensive working experience on legal matters in Vietnam.

CHUNG LE

Managing Partner

Chung is the Managing Partner of CLVN. Chung has practiced law since 2002 and he was previously a partner at Allens Linklaters where he principally focused on corporate, infrastructure projects, project finance, and construction (both front- and back-end).  

He has acted as a legal adviser in highly significant country-changing infrastructure and energy projects including an USD9 billion refinery and petrochemical project, one of the largest in South East Asia, complex gas-to-power, LNG-to-power projects and coal-fired power plants in Vietnam.

Chung has also served as an arbitrator, counsel, or legal expert witness in several large-scale and complex disputes at the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).

Chung is qualified to practice in Vietnam, the State of New York and before the Supreme Court of the United States. He also holds an LLM degree from Duke University School of Law and an MBA from the Paris Chamber of Commerce.

Since 2020, Chung has been pursuing the Doctor of Juridical Science program (SJD) at Duke Law School.
